My Home Hardware

Abhijeet's hardware

My Desktop

AMD AthlonXP 2800+ (Barton Core) built on a MSI Motherboard (Via Chipset), 512 MB 1 GB DDR RAM (@333MHz), 80 GB Seagate Barracuda PATA HDD (@7200 RPM), Samsung DVD-R & CD-R/RW combo drive*, Sony DVD R/RW optical drive, PC-Line webcam, Sony FDD, internal multi-card reader etc.

*Once it had ensured that I made 6 trips to the Samsung service centre (while the drive was still within warranty), it finally gave up the ghost 2 months after the 1 year warranty expired... If you have any sense, you'll avoid Samsung optical drives like the plague!!
